We are privileged to share with children and youth the joy of worshiping, growing, and serving through music. Choirs are featured at the annual Hanging of the Greens concert and lead in worship services throughout the school year.

Children’s choirs take place during Middle Hour. During worship service hours, children may attend worship in the Sanctuary with their families or participate in children’s programming. Children who participate in programming will be escorted to choir or vice versa.

Cherub Choir

PreK (age 4 by September 1)–Grade 1
Cherubs learn that singing their faith is fun! Through songs and musical games, our youngest musicians are introduced to corporate worship and basic singing skills in a nurturing environment. No auditions are required; singers may join at the beginning of the year or, space permitting, at other times during the year.

Joyful Noise Choir

Grades 2–4
Joyful Noise singers learn music fundamentals through songs, games, and movement. They prepare choral music in unison and two parts for singing in worship services and concerts. No auditions are required; singers may join at the beginning of each semester or, space permitting, at other times during the year.

NewSong Choir

Grades 5–8
In NewSong, we have fun, sing beautiful music together, and serve the church community in worship. Singers have the opportunity to grow in musical ability and self-confidence as they sing in multiple parts and a variety of styles. No auditions are required; just come and sing!

Rehearsal Time: Sundays, 11:30 am–12:30 pm

Network Choir

Grades 9–12
Network brings together high school students, music, and fun! Singers explore choral music in a variety of styles and settings. We lead worship throughout the year and often enjoy opportunities to partner with musicians and other choirs in the First Pres community. No auditions are required; just come and sing!
